Tigre Blanc® and Bartolomeo® take home IWSC awards in the Design & Media section

The International Wine & Spirit Competition, which has reached its 49th year, is now the world’s top competition for the wine and spirits sector.

In 1969, Anton Massel came up with the idea of a competition based not only on organoleptic criteria, but on assessing all of the components that go to make up the final product. Technical controls have been strengthened year by year, so as to ensure the finest and most consistent quality standards over time.

The goal of the IWSC is to reward excellence in wines and spirits from all over the world, which is why it has become the global benchmark for evaluating the quality of all aspects of a product.

In the 2018 edition, Tigre Blanc® and Bartolomeo® won the silver and gold medals respectively in the Design & Media section.

Both packagings were awarded for the whole: from the bottle to the closure. And of course here at Tapì we designed and manufactured the closures, with an aluminium screwcap for Tigre Blanc® and a closure in natural wood from the Signature Essence line for Bartolomeo®.
